Our Luffas are Grown with love right here in our own gardens. We NEVER add any pesticides or chemicals. The fruit is allowed to dry on the vine. It is then picked and peeled. After shaking out the seeds, it is cleaned and sunbleached to this beautiful eggnog color. Home grown luffa's are very different than the commercially grown ones. You will see and feel a difference immediately. Fiber walls are thinner and softer, making Homegrown Luffa a pleasure to bathe with. They grow in all different sizes and shapes. Average of last years crop is around 12-14 inches. Some are straight. Most have a slight curve. Drain your luffa and allow to dry between uses. They dry really fast here in the desert!! | $2.50 | |
